Configure and run loaders

Inspect available data functions and save reusable input configurations.

A loader retrieves data for the storefront. Its input schema appears as a form in Content → Advanced → Loaders; the implementation stays in the site's code.

Test a loader configuration

  1. Open Loaders and select a function from the available catalog or a saved loader block.
  2. Fill the input fields. If the site exposes a freeform input instead of a detailed schema, use the JSON editor supplied by this surface.
  3. Use Run when available to invoke it against the configured preview and inspect the returned result.
  4. For an available loader, save it under a block name if you want a reusable configuration. Changes to a saved loader autosave.

Running a loader and saving its configuration are separate operations. A successful result confirms that particular invocation; check how the consuming section renders it and then publish the saved changes.

Reuse data inputs

Select the saved loader in a section field that accepts its result type. Changing a shared saved loader can affect several sections, so inspect representative pages before publishing.

If no form or result is available, check the schema, runtime registration, preview server, and access rules. The editor does not override loader visibility. When adding a new loader, follow the framework version's development API; Fresh signatures and imports are preserved in the Fresh reference.
